(Washington, DC), August 15, 2003- Reacting to the power outage affecting much of the northeast, DraftWesleyClark.com, the campaign to draft former General Wesley Clark for President, today announced that it is offering free batteries for Clark supporters impacted by the blackout.

“This campaign has more than enough energy to spare,” said John Hlinko, co-founder of DraftWesleyClark.com. “So all those feeling dis-empowered or de-energized can count on being electrified by DraftWesleyClark.com.”

While the batteries can be used for any range of activities, the campaign suggests using them to visit DraftWesleyClark.com, or to view the campaign’s brand new television commercial (the same one shown on CNN, ABC, CNBC, and a range of other places).

The effort will continue until power is restored.
